A service advisor works at the front counter of the service department under the supervision of the service manager to make service appointments and check in customer vehicles. They obtain information from the customer about concerns and service required. The service advisor then communicates this information to the technicians and helps to manage the shop schedule. They maintain communication with the customer throughout the service process and complete invoicing once work is finished, explaining repairs to the customer and arranging return of the vehicle. The service advisor is a valuable member of the service team.
We are offering a full-time permanent position with benefits. On-the-job and online training will be provided. Automotive experience is not necessary, but some basic automotive knowledge would be a definite asset.
The successful candidate will be cheerful, friendly and self-motivated. He or she will enjoy challenges, possess excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, and show strong attention to detail.
